What is Data Visualization?
We understand data visualization as a precise visual translation of quantitative and qualitative information – not as decoration or simplification, but as a systematic transformation into novel representations.
Based on our Modular Information Design (MID) system, we combine diagrammatic, visual and structuring elements to create customized visualizations that are «on brand». These often go far beyond standard diagram types as they combine several data dimensions simultaneously in an understandable multidimensional way.
What sets us apart is our methodical process: for every project, we start with a thorough analysis of the data, identify relevant perspectives and then develop a visual system that makes these patterns visible. We avoid prefabricated templates and instead create individual visualizations that are precisely tailored to the respective data and user groups.
Our approach combines statistical understanding with design expertise and focuses on the central question: What story does this data tell, and how can we best convey it visually in a way that is inviting for every level of knowledge?
