Banking Investor Dashboards

The Swiss private bank, Bank Pictet engages with charts and graphs every day in order to assist their clients in investment banking. A crucial part of the project was to consciously re-design the monthly investor reports that are used by consultants during their meetings.

We started by transforming the financial language and layout in a new design that expresses clarity and unambiguity for the clients of Bank Pictet. Through a content analysis of past investor reports we identified potential improvements. As a solution we introduced a new diagram design and new icons to refine the clarity of the reports and modernize the look.

In order to achieve a better guideance, we implemented a new element, a navigation bar, on each chart. This way, the clients are able to identify directly whether the particular content is relevant to their interest. Each chart should act as a stand-alone image, which could then be used as an advertisement in the banks newspaper or blog.
