A robust rule-based system of icons that are easy to understand in visual grammar and aesthetically pleasing. The modular, layered construction of the icons allows complex terms to be depicted and even combined into infographics in a playfully simple way.

A growing need of Roche employees to visually communicate scientifically complex topics could be satisfied by the robust visual system and now contains a library of over 350 icons, which the employees live and maintain in a playful way.
